HomePSP Hungary

Hello, Hungary!

To become the most flexible and active rail freight company in the Central and Eastern European market and to increase the efficiency of cross-border traffic, we opened a branch of PSP Cargo Group in Hungary. With this move, we aimed at faster passage of our locomotives and wagons at the three railway border crossing points between Romania and Hungary, namely Curtici/Lőkösháza, Episcopia Bihorului/Biharkeresztes, and Valea lui Mihai/Nyírábrány. The cooperation between the two PSP Cargo Group teams in Romania and Hungary aims at a more comprehensive approach to transport and logistics projects in the two countries, facilitating the rapid resolution of problems arising in their implementation.

Currently, the transports are carried out by two electric locomotives and a Sulzer locomotive with a
6-axle diesel engine, and we will expand the parent company’s transports in Hungary and beyond.
